I've sold stuff on there. It's usually a cash/item exchange, so there isn't much to worry about in terms of fraud. I guess you could make sure a friend is with you if you're worried.

This really freaked me out, until I checked FB. Although maybe I should check Vox's friend list, to make you REALLY don't have a bug in my kitchen...

It's much worse to have your birthday on AIDS day than Earth Day. Just saying.

When Tim Allen actually dies will the person that delivers the news here be laughing on the inside about actually delivering the news?

About half are sociopaths that'll kill you and do, uh, "things" to your still warm remains.

So... it's kinda like a coin flip!

I've bought and sold some furniture on there. That was just people in the neighborhood coming buy to take a look at stuff or going to some random apartment and checking out a couch or something. Haven't been killed yet.

When I first moved to NY, I lived in a 6 bedroom apartment that was all month-to-month leases. So we were on craigslist like every few months finding new roommates. To be honest though, it probably wasn't that different from human trafficking.

Didn't I?

These sort of shenanigans might have been avoided with the provision of a few examples.

Uh oh..."3th" company officer just came to me looking to find out who sent the email, suspecting it came from one of the public computers in the library.

Men lose their minds speaking to pretty women

Each one performed a standard memory test where they had to observe a stream of letters and say, as fast as possible, if each one was the same as the one before last.

The volunteers then spent seven minutes chatting to male or female members of the research team before repeating the test.

The results showed men were slower and less accurate after trying to impress the women. The more they fancied them, the worse their score.

But when the task was repeated with a group of female volunteers, they did not get the same results. Memory scores stayed the same, whether they had chatted to a man or a woman.

Those results may not be valid unless they had the men and women speaking to a control group, say a small animal, a coat rack, or themselves.
