On the plus side, you could have starred in a family home-video remake of The Exorcist.

In those days, all we had were 8mm film cameras. And, after my first two years, we hardly ever filmed everything.

Just when I thought there was nothing more annoying than constantly hearing Strahan say, "I'm going to play BASEball" in his unfunny, high pitched voice in the Sports Authority commercial, they now have decided to show a different version and prove me wrong. This is far worse:

Tried a sip once. If you don't like mint in your food, you won't like it...

I think the shamrock shake only qualifies as "food" in certain unincorporated villages in sub-Saharan Africa.

That I've eaten delicious ass?

anyone know of a good option for data recovery? just go to the local computer repair place?

First, you should be backing up your fucking data!

When this kind of stuff happens, I usually have some success booting off a Linux live cd, mounting the hard drive, then transferring any recoverable data to an external USB drive. Ubuntu live cds are great for this. The system can usually find and mount the hard drive automatically, which then displays as an icon right on your desktop. There are probably a bunch of computer geeks at your school who would be happy to help you with this for free.

So you know a pretentious nerd that makes mac users look reasonable and well grounded by comparison?

I don't know. Sometime last week I watched the video Didn't I? posted on the making of the commercial (I have actually never seen the commercial on TV) and thought that the tag line would be a great location. I'd never really (consciously) noticed yours until now. But it's ok- you don't have a period at the end, i do. so they're different

You know that speeding ticket I got? Between yesterday and today, I received no less than 15 letters from lawyers wishing to represent me so I don't get any points on my license. According to NJ Law 1:38, I guess they can see that I was issued a ticket and get access to my personal information?

How is this legal? It's a violation of my privacy. Can just anybody look it up somewhere and find my name, address, driver's license #, license plate, etc... This is completely fucked up. Is this legal in PA and NY as well?
