It's a good sign if your band has the word Crow, Crows, or Crowes in it.

I haven't heard much Old Crow Medicine Show except that song that XPN used to play every twenty minutes five years ago.

The Black Crowes and Counting Crows have some good songs but are pretty mediocre over their careers.

And don't forget Sheryl Crow.

If you're talking about marketability, I guess you're right.

Oooo. Sheryl Crow. Forget about her. Not awful, but not my cuppa.

I'm especially fond of Counting Crows, and the recent "Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings" release.

So that Jolly's Dueling Pianos bar just opened across the street from me and my quality of life went down a whole notch. I'm pretty surprised it's legal to be that fucking loud on a city block. It sounds like they have speakers pointed outside.

You're like my mom. When we were younger, it would be like 9:33 and she'd yell at my brother and me, "It's 10 o'clock, why aren't you in bed?"

Am I crazy or wasn't there an "I'd still hit it" response to this? Regardless, I agree with that vanishing post.

zOMG! It's all becoming clear now. All those polls, leading up to and culminating with the "kill a man" one... PtK's taking out a hit and is shopping for an assassin  :!:

:dh:

(in this case, this emoticon doesn't represent "beating a dead horse", but an exuberant and thorough assassin making sure it's dead)

Recently I've been listening to The Roots much more often and forgot how much I like the song Long Time.

Y'all really ain't stoppin' the boy
With the pen like Willie on top of the hall
Pure soul what the city most popular for
Hear the tones that will ease you
Smooth as Bunny Sigler's soundtrack
Keepin' your head boppin' and all
