I was out of college, trying to decide what to do with my life. Actually, I had decided to go to grad school, since figuring out what to do with my life was too hard.

I was already married. I can remember the wife calling upstairs at our center city apartment that the World Series game was canceled because of an earthquake. How dumb did she think I was?

honestly, so many great things have happened since then that i wouldn't trade them all for that life changing sex. i'm so exhausted. i just arrived home for the first time since 3 p.m. yesterday, and i'm still wearing the same clothes. in between, i've gotten drunk, seen the Phils lose, caught an awesome band, danced my ass off at Silk City, got called "Jenny Craig" by a male stripper in an Ed Hardy t-shirt, shared a pullout bed with three other people, went to work hungover, drank all day today, saw Darren Daulton at the Fieldhouse, found out my friend (who's moving to San Diego in a week) had a crush on me a while back, and kissed this friend goodbye as the last strains of Pavement's "Range Life" played out on the Jose Pistola's jukebox. i got on the train at Suburban Station, fell asleep on the train, woke up a station late, walked through the rain to get back to my car, and drove my car home from the station.

Maybe it's his avatar plus having caught a bit of them on "Live from the Artists Den" last night, but that whole post read to me as a Craig Finn lyric in first draft.

I think the second best thing about moving home after the not paying rent is living near more than one place capable of making good pizza.

I haven't posted in any serious baseball threads since Aug 15th.

I'm about 90% sure the majority of people on the board appreciate that.

Does anybody know how Cypress Hill continues to sell a lot of records when every single song they have is essentially the same? The Latino dude says the chorus followed by a black guy repeating it in the background. I don't get it. Maybe I'm just tired of hearing their latest song in Madden 2010. Either way can anyone show me just one hit where they had that didn't follow that pattern?

I don't think they shush people in most libraries these days.

Probably not, but I think you're still supposed to be somewhat quiet in a library? Not so in a bookstore, I don't think.

So I missed this whole igarvey thing since I missed a bunch of game threads. Can anyone give a brief summary of his time here? Or is it worth searching for his posts?

a pile of firewood always seems to look smaller than what it is before you start stacking it.

I generally don't post grades until I finished all the assignments for a class.
