We were at a house full of Eagles fans, and my dad wouldn't shut up about the Giants/Oakland game.

My dad does not care about baseball.

I told him to shut up at some point. The game is sort of a blur at the moment.

It was weird, we were watching the game, probably around the 4th, and saw lots of lights out front. Looked out and there was a fire engine, ambulance, police. They weren't rushing or anything so we thought false alarm on a gas leak or something, then saw them pull out the stretcher from the back of the ambulance and put a white sheet on top, and go in the house. Brought him out a couple minutes later covered up.

I just won a bottle of whiskey from my dad saying it wasn't really Al Sharpton singing "Barack the Magic Negro"

Also, I'm on my first drink, and he's on his 8th.

My brother quoted High Hopes in his Facebook status

I'm so happy

Is this what it's like to feel like a proud father?

The law was introduced after a third-grade girl was expelled for a year because her grandmother had sent a birthday cake to school, along with a knife to cut it. The teacher called the principal — but not before using the knife to cut and serve the cake.

Did you ever see the Kids in the Hall where the one guy brought his jailed friend a birthday cake with a key to the jail cell lock in it, but the guards asked for some, so the guy just cut pieces around the key until the remaining cake was shaped like a big key?? It's not so funny in writing but I was rolling
