A maintenance worker at the Jersey shore for three summers. 80% of the job was emptying trash cans at the entrances to the boardwalks. My third summer I was the crew chief (summer after frosh year of college), and at least two years younger than the rest of my crew of four. Good times.

how do you all feel about this?

A two-year-old with the same IQ as Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking has become the youngest boy in Britain to be accepted into Mensa.

Assessors at the Gifted Children's Information Centre in Solihull say Oscar Wrigley is one of the brightest children they have every come across.

His IQ has been ranked off the scale as the Stanford-Binet test cannot measure higher than 160, reports the Daily Telegraph.

....

Mother Hannah, 26, added: "His vocabulary is amazing. He's able to construct complex sentences. The other day he said to me, 'Mummy, sausages are like a party in my mouth'."

In Gladwell's book Outliers it talks about this genius guy and how he was able to speak when he was six months old. But he never got anywhere in terms of academia or recognition because he was a social retard that came from a fucked up family life. I hope they hug that kid.

I dunno how close you'll be able to get, but if it were me I'd try to check it out. I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean it wouldn't be dumb.

Pavement was a ridiculously good band. Like, maybe one of the 5 best bands of the 90's.

Observing those classes was actually kinda fun. Sure, I had to get up at 6:30 and gave up my two days of fall break, but whatever, it's going to be out of the way.
