You should probably at least take her to dinner first
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Now here's something I know a lot about. I married the hot bartender.

So, here's what I'll say, though I'm not sure where you're at in the process. You ask her out. The risk is, hot bartenders get asked out regularly, and are really good at shooting people down. And then, you'll probably not want to go back to that bar again. This is why it took me several months to work up the nerve, and get just exactly the right buzz to get the first ask.

If things go well, and you find yourself in a relationship, then you can expect the occasional free drink, but do not abuse this, and it would be very bad form to get drunk during your girlfriend's shift. Tip as you normally would--this was always a little weird for me, but do it anyway. You might make it a point to stick around until closing time though--this worked really well for me.

I realized this morning that I haven't eaten any meat since Sunday. And I actually feel really good. I don't think I could ever go 100% vegetarian but there might be something to be said for drastically reducing meat consumption.

that chickpea sandwich at Standard Tap on Saturday made me feel pretty confident that, if need be, i could be a vegetarian. plus they had a portabella sandwich on the menu also. i need to find more vegetarian meals that i find to be awesome.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

I'm going vegetarian when I move. I did it for a year in college with no problem. I try to push it out of my head, but it always makes me feel pretty shitty that animals lives are made horrific just so my dinner is a little better.

Just ate most of a quarter-watermelon that I sliced up last night. Mmm. Almost makes it worth being sort of hot and gross out today.
