Michael Jackson: deceased

Postby Marion » Tue Jul 07, 2009 13:20:45

I'm watching the memorial on CNN website. Is there a way to get rid of the annoying facebook updating on the side of the screen?
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

Better yet, is there any other website that is broadcasting the webcast? CNN keeps freezing on me here.

I just watched Magic and Kobe speak. I'm turning this off again.

Magic Johnson called watching Michael Jackson eating KFC the greatest moment of his life.

I mean really.

Magic also said Michael made him a better basketball player. Seriously?

Oh, and Al Sharpton just said to Michael's children, "There wasn't anything strange about your daddy."

I don't have a problem with this statement- a lot of athletes are inspired by music artists, and visa versa.

Shouldn't this congresswoman be in Washington doing the people's business?

The man was one of the great entertainers of all time. But this whole thing just seems overdone to me.

Michael Jackson = Jesus

The "King" stopped and said, "I care about you."

This lady is insane.

Holy cow.

The whole humanitarian thing is whack. He had a bunch of "charities" that, when investigated, actually did jack squat. He talked the game, but did little about it.

So Michael Jackson was effed in the head cause of child stardom, and they invite a freaking little British kid to sing at his memorial service?

This is such an epic train wreck. I cannot look away for the life of me.

It wouldn't be a Michael Jackson funeral without hundreds of prepubescent children.

I can't believe they let the daughter speak. That's probably the last thing he ever would have wanted. He never even wanted them to be photographed.

But yeah, the daughter got me.

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?
