yeah, send them along, man.

i really enjoyed the six song set you sent me earlier. pity it's a minute too long to put on a CD or it would have been in heavy rotation in my car (where i spend most of my life).

it's just that their catalog is so vast, especially when you throw in the live stuff, that i really have no idea where to even start.

I have to decide in about five minutes whether I'm scrapping the long hair attempt or giving it at least another weekend; it's stressing me out!

I have three days to decide whether I shall continue the Great Beard* Experiment.

Oh, and hi everyone!

I haven't had my hair long in about six years and I'd really like to get it back out, but it will look like ass for the next two and a half months at least (I'm only three in) and that kills me.

i'm at that phase right now as well. it's starting to get curly now so i might as well give it a whirl. letting the beard keep going too.

Housh,
I'm in the same spot as well. I'm 2.5 months in and want to let it go, but the sides are just horrendous. I actually tried calling for an appt. earlier, but no one picked up, so for now there has been a reprieve. I'm thinking a bit of a touch up on the sides and let the top go.

Yeah, I think about it every single day, and I figure I'll give in and hack it eventually so I might as well do it before any more stress. It's really kinda bittersweet though because I guess I'll never have long hair again.

I've actually started writing a novel or short story (however long it turn out to be) with a friend of mine. I'll be surprised if we come close to finishing it.

VoxOrion wrote:They don't though. Well, I should say that - I've never heard any of the so-called rock and roll songs. They have a sound that I can't put my finger on, I've heard it with other bands (a lot of local ones too) - there's like, a lack of punch or something. Maybe that's the mellow jam-appeal, but it all comes off as very vanilla and weary to me.

Here's some "punch" for ya :o ...

...skip the first 40 or so seconds (some sort of intro lead-in, I assume about Finland). I literally LOL'ed at the guitarist doing that kick/strut bounce thing 'cuz it's so out of place with the sort of, uh, "ominous" image you'd assume they'd want to portray.

Never even heard of these guys before... saw one of those lol captioned pics of the bassist on the internets today, so I just had to search the YouTubes. And, under the "related" YouTubes... "The Devil Is A Loser"

Yup, sounds like the chorus is "the devil is a loser and he's my b*tch". :o

'how much is a shit-ton'

'about 6.5 courics'
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

What was the name of that band? Because I propose we turn this board from a board for Phillies phans to a board dedicated to north American fans of that band. That was the awesomest awesomeness in the history of awesome.
