No link but I know the bit well. Sal "The Stock Broker" went to Harlem and asked people on the street how they were going to vote in the election. Every answer they aired was for Obama. Then Sal took McCain's positions on issues and attributed them to Obama.

Paraphrasing:

Sal - "So are you leaning towards Obama because of his pro-life stance or because he wants to keep the troops in Iraq?"

Respondent - "I'd say both".

They have about a half dozen of these examples. It's fun yet sad to listen to it.

So you're saying 60 or what? Two indies + 58, or are you considering them Democratic?

I figure this might be a good place to ask on such short notice...

Just got word that my father was hospitalized this morning and will be in the hospital for at least a few days. He's disappointed that he won't be able to vote at his usual polling location (where they have his voter registration stuff). Since I'm not in PA, I figure I'd ask here and pass on any info to my folks... Is there any provision or whatever in Pennsylvania where he still would be able to cast his ballot considering such a circumstance (admitted to the hospital this morning)?

I don't know if he still does, but Hannity used to do this every week. Ask people questions like "Who is the Vice President", "What party is in control of congress", "Is John Kerry Pro Life or Pro Choice" etc. Folks usually got all or most of the answers wrong.

I just saw that Biden was going to be in PA and he's going to have a few Phillies with him. Anyone else hear this; specifically, which Phillies might be with him?

No idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if Utley and Hamels turn out to be Obama supporters. Rollins already has stated that he supports Obama.

Sad that she won't see her grandson cross the finish line. Best wishes to your Dad, PiP.

I guess the players can do what they want, but in general, I oppose mixing politics and sports. I hope this works out better than Palin at the Flyers game.

It's a shame she couldn't hang in until the end, but it probably helps him to be able to grieve now instead of when he still had to beat the campaign trail for a week or two.

But if Obama's people rig some voting areas in their favor, then everything works itself out
