No way in hell that happens. I work for Wachovia. This was a temporary setback due mainly to a bad merger, but the bank is still well capitalized and will not be selling out to a competitor. Despite this news, our stock is still up about 50% over the last week or so (I know it's still way down this year, but the rebound is good).

i caught wind of a rumor that the Wu was trying to get involved with the Obama campaign and play some shows in support of him, one being at Penn State. however, according to rumor, the Obama campaign didn't want to be linked to the Wu. my friend, in charge of a student organization that books shows, got a contact for someone involved with the process, but he backed down because he's got a budget deadline tomorrow and this would throw a wrench into everything. so i took charge.

as it turns out, it has nothing to do with the Wu-Tang Clan. the contact was a guy from Brooklyn Zu, which is only very loosely connected to the Wu-Tang Clan. i had great plans for this show, but i doubt i'll pursue it because honestly, no Penn State student is going to show up for a group that's only very loosely connected to the Wu-Tang Clan.

my oh my can you imagine the MANUFACTURED OUTRAGE that would ensue if Obama did something connected to the Wu Tang clan. Sean Hannity might yank his own dick off
