Early absentee numbers promisingish for Jenkins. Crushing him in a few of the medium sized parishes, getting killed in what I'm going to assume for the sake of my own hopes in a parish that is either where Cazayoux is from or there are tons of black people.

Here's an image from Livingston Parish. Draw your own conclusions.

Here's a chart that shows primary votes by county, which one would imagine is a good approximation of where these candidates have strength.

Woody looking alright. If East Baton Rouge keeps this up, I'm going to love the press piling on the Obama thing.

Cazayoux's only hope now I think is a runoff.

Which he shouldn't put too much stake in, cause there aren't any runoffs in Louisiana anymore.

Oh. That's a good thing, though. I think we were talking about building a fence a year or so ago. Which would make liquor runs a bigger pain in the ass than they already are.

Oops. The LA Sec of State website just crashed. I guess some ballot boxes needed stuffing or something.

Working fine for me, up around 5,000 votes/10% with almost half the vote in.

Unless there are an awful lot of black people in East Baton Rouge Parish who are waiting to have their vote counted, this is really an awesome statement being made here.

Under 1,000 votes. Nothing left but East Baton Rouge.

Come on, black people. Hope you listened to Michael Jackson and stayed home.

BTW, Ashley Casey, who has almost 4% of the vote, ran as an "Independent Conservative Voice" for Louisiana. I hope she burns in hell if she wins this race for Cazayoux.

Dems win by 3%. We should be able to rewin this seat in November I think. This sucks though.

We absolutely need to nominate someone other than Jenkins. He's seriously a douchebag of the highest order, and is the reason we lost this race.

I think the Obama thing ended up working some. McCain at the top of the ticket, we win this seat back.
