I was pretty happy with the Mach 3 too, but not so much with paying $9 for four refills, if you could even find them. They've been getting scarce since the Fusion came out.

I ditched the Mach3, Quattro, and the Fusion and went back to the Sensor XL. Those fancy more than two blade razors leave too much stubble.

I'm rocking the Mach 3 that I got from Gillette on my 18th birthday, 10 years ago. I had the mach 3 turbo or whatever the hell the vibrating one was called, it annoyed me and then the battery corroded so yeah.

As for shaving, I'm a hairy mofo as well, but I've come up with a system that keeps my face smooooooth. I got me a fog proof mirror and I hung it in the shower, I use shave cream not gel, usually they are expensive, but the one linked I can get for about $2.50 a tube. As for the shave, I go one pass with the grain and then one pass against. Then rinse off. If I'm feelin' suave I'll throw a little aftershave on and go get freaky with some honeies (my wife)

I find the Mach III works way better with a quality shaving cream or gel. I'm using Nivea gel right now with my Mach III, and my face is baby smooth.

If I want to stay somewhat clean I have to shave a lot, and I can't believe there is a fog-proof mirror out there. Got to have one. I usually have the goatee but lately I've been clean shaving and a fog proof mirror sounds wonderful.
