Hamels is damn good. I wish he hadn't pitched the 8th, though.

Cholly's logic is that because Hamels was on DL he's well rested. I guess he's right!

Amaro did say that Myers and Gordon could pitch more often because they were on the DL.

He finishes (?) with 116 pitches.

Did I say "wow"?

So when are you buying those playoff tickets so I can give you the hot dog you won in our bet?

LoDuca hit by a foul ball, and doesn't look so hot.

Mets fans must be so utterly defeated at this point.

I hope I see some.

You have to give Hamels all of the credit in the world: Biggest game he has ever pitched in and he gives us 8 great innings and 13K. I disagreed with not hitting for him with the bases loaded and sending him out there for the 8th but it worked so what the hell.

Now I can only hope Cholly doesn't use JC or Gordon in the 9th for no reason. With a 6-0 lead Condrey or Geary can handle the situation.

Lo Duca looks seriously hurt. He tried the throw to 2nd and came up limping bad. Still in the game though
