somebody called it all shook out thread 9/28

What a night. I watched most of it at a bar with regular looks at my phone for the Mets score. These last couple weeks have been the most fun I've had as Phillies fan in an awful long time. It's right on par with 1993 for me.

we can probably let it slip just this one time....but like the well-meaning say to those doing their first pull in stir, "better stay the hell outta hershey".

just to be on the safe side - you DO know it's an afternoon game...?
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Why the hell would you be out there for this game?
Check The Good Phight, you might learn something.

Harry the K's was jumping last night and I apologize for spilling my beer on all those people in the last row, but hey -- standing room only.

I was also reprimanded for banging too loudly on the top of a trash can.

absolutely insane environment last night, sucks that I have to go to a wedding today.

Don't go to the wedding unless it's your brother or sister or something

good friend from high school, lots of Mets and Yankees fans coming from NYC. Everybody else loves the Phils so I can't imagine the game will be ignored. Wedding begins at 4 PM at Lemon Hill Mansion. I might bring headphones.

"You know what?" Myers said Friday, all these months later. "I understand. We started 4-11. We deserved to get booed. I've said it all year. It's a love-hate relationship with these people. They hate it when you do bad, but they love it when you do well. And I think this year, in this clubhouse, we understood it more. It wasn't that they were booing us because we were a bad team. They were booing us because they weren't happy with what the results were."
