See, I told you guys the Mets fans were, basically, us...

They've got very, very favorable pitching matchups the next three days, but at this point I'm not sure that any rational factor applies. What's happening with them really defies explanation, and maybe comprehension.

Gudel mentioned in the CSN postgame that she talked to an official and if Chipper had made more of an effort to tag Utley, Utley would have been ruled out of the baseline...

Yeah, I made an obscure reference to that upthread. It was supervisor of umpires Rich Garcia. I disagree. I don't think any on-field ump would have made that call. I think he was just trying to woo Leslie. :!:

Go Phils?

The Nats have a chance of becoming my second favorite team ever if they beat the Mets tonight and roll over for us this weekend. Think about it, they clearly hate the Mets as much as we do... you never know.

Not that we don't have a very good chance of beating them even if they try their hardest.
