It's the rules. There is nothing better than having several officials get together and figure out if someone with bad breath, breathed on the goalie. It just doesn't get better than that.

For anyone who didn't watch the game, it really was not what the score indicates. The Flyers actually outplayed WASH (IMHO) for long stretches of the game but did not get a single bounce go their way. It started with the disallowed goal 23 seconds in and continued with Provorov hitting the cross bar, Backstrom squeezing a shot through a one-inch space between Gudas' legs on a block attempt and then the cross ice pass between the circles that deflected off of Gudas' blade and between Neuvy's legs. Still too many turnovers but it was a pretty good effort overall. A loss is obviously a loss but this was not the domination that it seems.
