Yeah, everyone thought they would take Olli Maatta. He's still only 22 but somethings just missing with him. Really looked like he was going to be a more skilled and less suspended Steve Downie.

I know pre-season, small sample size and all but the Flyers hit on nearly 30% (5-18) of their PPs in the last four games (BOS, NYI and NYR twice) and only allowed one in 17 tries short-handed. That has to be at least a little encouraging especially since special teams play was a big part of their first round exit last year.

Your top 6 of Schenn, G, Simmonds, Coots, Jake, Konecny is awesome for the foreseeable future. Now you've also got two defenseman who are good defensively but also provide huge offensive support. I expect the goals to be way up this year

Can't wait for the new guys to help on the PP. That's really what killed the team last year. Hopefully help with the PK as well.
