Basically it looks like Hextall is offering Schenn the same money per year that Coots is getting; this year minus the money for being suspended.

The Flyers have avoided arbitration with F Brayden Schenn. The two sides have agreed to a 4-year deal.

Schenn gets a 4 year deal and avoids arbitration. Hoping it's not more than 5M/yr

Yea.. I'm still iffy on our cap situation because of a certain farmer, hopefully the Vegas team will take them because they love us.

Amac is getting sent down to the AHL again so we won't be up against it during the season.

ESPN (Pronman) rates the Flyers' minor league system as 6th-best

It's hard to criticize the Flyers' system. Talented all-around centers? Check. Dynamic big defensemen? Check. Ridiculous goaltender depth? Check. Depth through their amateur and professional ranks? Check. Players with star upside? Check. They don't have an Auston Matthews-caliber player in the pipeline, but that player doesn't stay in your system longer than three months anyhow. Ron Hextall emphasizes patience in developing players, so I do expect this system to remain at a high level for another two seasons as the build continues.


Top five: Toronto, Arizona, Winnipeg, Columbus, Carolina. Islanders are #7, Devils #19, Penguins #27, Rangers #28
