They used to have some syndicated crap out of Las Vegas and it was extremely easy to fool the call screeners. I still remember the number 1-800-777-2907. My house in high school had 2 phone lines so there were times when we'd be on the line for like 4 consecutive calls when they weren't busy. I think one time we almost gave the host a nervous breakdown. He stopped taking east coast calls altogether. I think my friend has tapes of it somewhere, but I haven't heard them in years. You'd be amazed at what kind of language and creative rap lyric references you can get on the air after midnight.

I actually remember that show, but not your calls specifically

Then they switched to a guy who gave awful NFL betting advice

Larry Ness?!

If you ever heard anyone make a reference to the $20 Sack Pyramid (Dr. Dre's The Chronic album), that was me

I think it was Lenny Stevens

When reading a book, I never use a bookmark. Instead, I remember the page I'm on by thinking of a player's number. It could be any sport, whoever comes to mind first. Like right now, I'm reading the Kite Runner, and I left off on page one hundred and Wes Hopkins.

Interesting.

I am a digit adder... when I see a number, I add up the digits and try to divide the result by "3". Numbers divisible by 3 are the "best."

Example:

I-476... 4+7+6 = 17 = not divisible by 3 = :(

Route 222... 2+2+2 = 6 = divisible by 3 = :)

Often while sitting in traffic and bored... adding license plate numbers, phone numbers on billboards, truck ID numbers, etc.

For no clear reason, I've always had a mental association between the number 5 and the letter B.

I divide numbers constantly, but I don't add them up first. If I see a license plate or an ID that says, like, 2456 I divide it in half and then in half again as many times as possible.... 1228, 614, 307, etc. Then If I can't divide in half I'll try and see if there is another number that I can divide into it (besides 1 LOL!!!)

8 = yellow

Last night, Mrs. Vulture was out and my daughter got upset because it is picture day today and she wanted her hair braided so it would look crimped today. I braided her hair for the first time, and did not do a bad job.

As I was reading through this thread, I was waiting for a comment like this. I think it's called synthesia or something like that.

`

Yes.

There's a guy out there that has Rainman like abilities but without the severe autism (they call him Brainman) and he can do complex math problems because he has synthesia- he basically views numbers as shapes and he can tell if large numbers are prime or not depending on how "rough" the number is to him.

Found out his name is David Tammet

If they do I'm not going to the right school. In fairness I do work on my baseball/softball swing mechanics quite often too
