That could have been the most frustrating set of answers the whole for me. If you are bigot and hate gay people and not in the military, guess what, you probably work with gay people. If most of the military was racist should we go back to segregated units? I don't understand why we would allow our military to embrace and coddle bigotry.

a lot of big advisers within the republican party are gay. Matt Drudge is a gay dude. I laugh at the hypocrisy of some of these people.

Yeah but McCain arguing that it was constitutional was bizarre.

It was great seeing Romney preach to McCain about the torture of prisoners.

What's up with Ron Paul supporters being annoying twits who clap uncontrollably at anything the guy does? They'd start getting hard if Paul ate one of his boogers up there.

I know I'm biased but seriously, these guys were all terrible. Open and honest question to Republicans out there, which of these people would you honestly be excited to vote for?

To be fair, it's not like I am thrilled about the Democratic field and would probably only get enthused about Biden about this point.

I like Biden and Obama seems like a guy that will be good in the presidency, and even Dodd seems to be a guy with a good grasp on what it takes. If Bill Richardson was as good as Bill Richardson's resume he might be the favorite. Hillary is MEH, and I think Edwards would be better in 4-8 years if he does a Gore-like tour. Kucinich has no chance. I'm not sure if any of the Republicans are any good. Huckabee is a straight shooter, but he's shooting blanks. Romney would be alright if he was actually running as he governed in Massachusetts. Guliani is a scary dude when he talks about terrorism, and McCain is so old he looks like he might start talking about the 'talkies' and 'moving pictures' up there. Thompson? I don't see it, personally.

Of course I'm looking from a Democratic viewpoint.

Interesting. If you don't mind could you give a synopsis of what you like about them?

We need the Voxes point of view. They are the Republican elite of this board. The man is keeping us down and we need their viewpoints on this election!

I think Rudy would be good for the party because I hope we can stay competitive in the northeast in general and Jersey specifically. He's good on fiscal issues, and I think if he runs the right campaign, he'll end up our most electable candidate based on the map.

I probably agree with McCain the most on the issues, and he's generally a pretty straight shooter. I just think he's too damn old, and that'll hurt him in the general. Plus he's quick to shiv the party if it's convenient for him.

Romney's pretty fake, but "right" on the issues. I don't think he's as good of a general election candidate with combination of the Mormon and used car salesman things. Plus, what the heck is his experience? Not running for reelection was smart politically I guess, but weak.

Thompson is lazy, old looking, and totally generic. He really should be the frontrunner right now, but he's an uninspiring candidate who lacks a reason for running.

Finally, Huckabee sucks. I hate him. He calls the Club for Growth the Club for Greed. He's everthing about the party that I dislike. He's a freaking Baptist preacher running for president because he's a Christian leader. Please no. Please, please no.

Tom Tancredo is one OUT THERE dude. He is embarrassing to have as a candidate for President. His overt racism and xenophobia surprises me.

And the Dems have Kucinich who saw aliens or UFOs or whatnot.

Frankly, it's more embarrassing that people like this get elected to Congress. They represent 600-700k people. How does this happen?

They're all mediocre and lame.

I'm certain I'll be voting Republican next November only to vote against Hillary or Obama. Even then it's a half-assed vote - I'll be choosing "maybe" over "certainly" on issues that matter most to me - abortion, taxes, social issues, the war on terror, etc.

Despite this, I still say Hillary loses to any of these clowns if she's the nominee. Even Huckabee, and if we learned one thing from Dukakis, it's that American's have no interest in presidents with silly names.

Dukakis' name isn't hick though!

Can I request that your vote only count halfway since it's just a protest vote? Our country should create a scale to weigh the ivalue of each vote. If IMDB can do it, so can the nation!

Don't worry, I live in New Jersey. My vote for president never counts (although it's possible that Rudy could screw that up...)
