It's clear that Odor is not one to always act rationally. Did you see where the throw wound up?

I'd say it's at least 20% that he tried to hit Bautista with the throw.

wound up 20ft away because it hit the top of Bautista's helmet.

When you have a train coming at your legs it is hard make a good throw. It's why there was a take out slide throughout the history of the game.

This guy though really doesn't deserve much of a benefit of the doubt, no doubting that.

Yeah, the throw hit his helmet, I still don't see enough there to claim intent though. If he wasn't wearing shades so you could see if his eyes were tracking Bats or not, then sure blame away, but I still think he was looking towards first. Again, this doesn't mean I think he's not an asshole who deserves a longer suspension.

Odor if he has any regret about the thing? No.

Just a word of caution to those that might try to walk back at him. He can swing.

Final tally:
Odor = 8 games (Fick '00 and Quentin '13 (see below) were used for precedent)
Gibbons = 3
Chavez = 3
Bats = 1
Andrus = 1
Bush = fined/no suspension

What's with Bochy batting Duffy 3rd, Belt 5th, and Pence 6th?

Duffy is OPSing like 640.

Span, Pence, Belt, Posey makes a heckuvalotta sense to me at least.

Pence batted cleanup for most of the year i think while belt rakes at 5th. So he totally skipped over the easiest change to make to go with that roulette spin which is even zanier

Won't be until 2023 (or 2024 when their 30-year lease expires), and they haven't figured out how to pay for it yet, but it's amazing when the stadiums of the 90s are now outdated. First the Georgia Dome, then Turner Field, now this. Having a retractable roof in Arlington makes sense though
