True, though Winkelman was actually Ruben Amaro Superfan #1 on Twitter for a really long time, to the point that it looked like he was trying to get hired by him or something. It was very odd and off-putting.

I'm thinking they announce it tomorrow instead of waiting until Monday. Giving him a day or 2 to settle in before the GM meetings is more important than timing the announcement perfectly. Or maybe it will be leaked tomorrow but officially announced on Monday.
