I don't watch a lot of non-Flyer games but I can't imagine another franchise is as impotent at penalty shots and shoot outs the way they are. Obviously Laughton had to take that but seriously you would think they could find one guy who could actually score on that every now and then and just carry him on the roster somewhere.

I didn't really care for the 3-on-3 last night. Felt like the chances were just random occurrence/odd bounces rather than hockey skill. Maybe that was atypical of what it will look like.

It felt like a skills competition, but better skills competition than a shootout.
