It wasn't that the ground chicken was bland. On the contrary, it had a very distinct flavor. And that flavor was gross.

Threw out my back cleaning up the driveway after using the snowthrower this morning. It's never been this bad. Luckily I have a bunch of expired muscle relaxants from a previous incident. I'm 80-years-old.
