He did what he had to do to support his family.

I think he's drunk. And stupid, most definitely stupid. I'd say it's a lie and he's trying to sell books.

He's talked about this before. I remember someone posted an interview he did (on WIP maybe?) a year or so ago where he talked about it. He didn't sound drunk or anything in that one iirc, but that doesn't mean he wasn't lying either.

It just seems unbelievable. especially as he describes the conversation. Did the catcher not hear any of it?

Oh, I'm sure he's full of shit. Are we really supposed to believe he hired private investigators for all the umpires that may have had a chance to call a game behind home plate, or just did it for a couple and word got out to the other umps to scare them? Dumb.

He said he paid $500K. Would think that goes a long way. He's in the Tyson zone so idk.

13th I got this sweet Chalk Line satin Eagles jacket... remember when those were a thing? Raiders were the popular one... but, unlike every other such Eagles jacket I ever saw, which were green, this one was black like the Raiders jackets.

Like this, but black. Loved that goddamn thing.

I think we have a better chance than the braves or rockies, but that's ok. It will make the parade all the more sweet

Don't look too much into these odds. Books starting this year are covering their ass early in case someone goes mega overload in free agency.

Once the market runs out they'll adjust the odds back down.

It's a bad choice, but whatever. ARod had a better year, and didn't play last year.

ARod had more homers, but Prince beat him in many other categories. And Arod's absence was self-inflicted.

one was coming back from a potentially career-ending neck injury, the other from a PED suspension.

Scrolling down to the slideshow, picture 4 would be a good idea.
