There's also the whole arbitration clock thing, but that usually affects the small-market teams like Tampa and Pittsburgh and probably isn't a factor here

Again, we're unsure of Montgomery's health here too. If he's not healthy and the other owners are getting involved, it's a different story. And probably not good news for Amaro.

Yeh, it has a ring of truth to it. I also think his comment about the other owners being involved wasn't just an off-handed comment. He has probably heard something to that effect.
