Yeah no shit, Hartnell wasn't even the 2nd biggest threat on his PP line

he had the 2nd most PP goals but who gives a shit about stats

umberger stinks. also yeah some donkey who tweeted at ZWR was talking about hartnell to either CBJ or st. louis an hour before the flyers announced the trade and is now saying umberger will be part of a schultz deal.

Some dude on Twitter had the Hartnell trade at 10:30. Said Umberger is being flipped. I hate the friend of a friend heard this BS but the proof is there.

no, but its not farfetched to think he was the 2nd best. he's a specialist with a wicked shot somehow. anyway, he had strengths and theyll miss that. he also sucked too so they wont miss that. but RJ, youre not getting anything new there

Yeah, 18 goals and 4th leading goal scorer on Columbus who can kill penalties is terrible.

different. simmonds does his work as a net front guy. real light on his feet, quick burst to the crease. farts could shoot it in. currently I only see Giroux filling that role and he's the guy usually with the feed anyway. im sure theyll be fine. PP scoring wasnt the problem. I was just pointing out where you might miss him

There's the culture change I posted about before. You can tolerate a clown on ice when he's scoring 30 goals, but he sucked last season and Hexy was also burdened with yet another horrendous contract by Holmgren. If they can flip RJ that's even better.

This honestly may have been the last chance to get rid of Hartnell.

voracek cant shoot the puck in the net? Voracek has been a bigger threat on the PP than Hartnell as well, you can make a clear case that hartnell was the 4th biggest threat on his own PP line as the Flyers used Voracek a decent amount on the point

3rd highest point total of his career. hartnell gets shit because his game is ugly. i don't mind moving his deal but i'm not going to pretend that this deal made the team better. same age, same contract for the next few years. hopefully they flip him.
