Doubleday's Random Matter

According to CBS Evening News’ Jim Axelrod, Alex Rodriguez could be facing a lifetime ban from MLB.
Ryan Braun was given a 65-game suspension on Monday for his involvement in the Biogenesis PED clinic and reports from ESPN have stated that the evidence against A-Rod is "far beyond" what Major League Baseball investigators had on the Brewers star.

must've been going straight to the manufacturer & just jumped right up on the conveyor belt with all the little vials
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

The ironic big winner would be the Yankees.

I wonder if A-Rod's MRI return to the MLB was re-routed intentionally over the weekend.

The George Brett hitting coach experiment is over. He moved back into the office to resume VP duties

Hosmer has really hit well since June 1st. Moustakas has been bad. Gordon has been just 7 ticks above average or so. Butler has been OK I guess although for a guy who is just a bat he's not that impressive although he sells a lot of Bar B Que sauce. They have a lot of mini mart type hitters on the rest of the roster.

Brett probably got sick of this.

VP is probably a good gig. Drinks good beer and eats sammiches with the Billy Butler Bar B Que Sauce. Don't think he has to work very hard unless he feels like it. His job is being George Brett I suppose, which is nice work if you can get it.

Yankees will not disclose where Jeter is playing his sim game. As in, like, nope no info. Bizarre #NYY

I can't wait for Bob Brookover's Yankee doppelgänger to pen a scathing review of how difficult his life as a baseball writer is.
