Wel people aren't stupid. It doesn't matter if you're old school or new school, this team looks bad on paper.

I'm just hoping someone like Rollins doesn't bash fans for lack of support. It would get ugly. At the moment, I think people see the front office as the problem. Or maybe that's just my perspective from reading this board.

Can't blame the players for getting old and injured. Can blame management for thinking its core is immune.

I missed it. Was Amaro on WIP this morning complaining that people should give the Phillies a chance because they are going to be contenders? Or was WIP just playing tape of Amaro comments to that effect? In any event, I can at least take some solace in knowing that Amaro knows that people think he has done a terrible job. Even if his smugness doesn't believe it.

Yeah I think he was on basically saying he can't believe that people/fans don't think they're going to contend and that he expects them to contend

(paraphrasing)

I mean, what's he going to say, but yeah more evidence that Rube wakes up in the morning, wishes in one hand, then shits in the other

I did not include the Indians because I lost their data on my spreadsheet and did not feel like doing the work all over again.

According to Brian Startare, a radio host at 97.5 The Fanatic who had the manager write a forward for his upcoming book,

Ryan - it's a "foreward" for the book, not a "forward."

Fun exercise. Describe the job duties of these people currently employed by the Philadelphia Phillies:
Pat Gillick
Ed Wade
Dallas Green
Gary "Sarge" Matthews
