Yuck. He's only a dubious step up from Mayberry or Delmon Young for that matter,he's old, he's apparently a lousy clubhouse guy and he's not cheap. As a fourth outfielder type I could see him being an asset. Otherwise I don't see the logic.

2/16 is a reasonable expectation imo. he's the first guy to sign. no reason to come here if he didn't get an above market deal.
