Mike Young is on the front page of ESPN.com trade deadline story

Might be time for MLB to consider shutting down. Maybe reinvent itself as a skateboard league

wish they'd extend the deadline. even if it were just Aug. 15 it'd make a huge difference

Where are the trades? I thought we had all these pieces to sell. Not a single trade?

Not while we're on a winning streak.

i love this.

great metaphor for how if we just had these pieces years ago they would be worth something.

Remember when it was exciting for about 5 minutes last night when JBJ got pulled from the game? That was fun.

Oh come on, what happened to the gallows humor around here?

I'm on record saying that if he couldn't get an elite prospect for Lee, he should hold, re-sign Utley, play kids at 3B and RF, and basically double down by signing guys like Choo and McCann while waiting for the farm system to bear fruit.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

At this point, I'd sell MY for a scratch off. Like a literal scratch off, not a risk/reward prospect.

I'd even trade him for Michael Cisco.

Sources: #Yankees not getting far in search for third baseman. #Marlins still expect interest in Polanco, but Yankees cool to idea so far.

The Shermanator just said we're talking with Boston still about Young, and that the Yankees are next in line but don't know if he'd go there

It's been an uneventful trade deadline this year in general so maybe we're being too hard on Amaro but damn, there's really no excuse for Michael Young to be on this team after the deadline.

If nobody wants him, then release his ass. Delmon Young too.

Despite denials I still think Young to Red Sox has better than a 50/50 chance of happening in final hour of deadline...makes too much sense

I feel like Rube has a deal in place with the Yankees and is planning to go to Young at 3:30 and tell him its NY or nothing
