I really hope this piece of shit never recovers from his ankle injury. He's a legitimately terrible baseball player. Every AB he takes from Ruf and Brown is going to make me nuts. I like the Michael Young trade 10000x more than the Young signing.

They aren't going to keep 6 OFs. I assume it works itself out somehow, but I think Mayberry has to stay because no one else can backup CF. It's probably Ruf, unless Brown is really terrible and they decide to go with Young full-time in RF and Nix/Ruf platoon in LF. I can't believe I just typed that.

While I agree with this, it's almost as likely Darin Ruf is also awful at baseball. I hope that's not the case but it could be.

i actually do think brown getting traded is the most likely scenario behind ruf going down to the minors.
