That article made me sad. Also kind of annoyed me that the prosecutor didn't know the statute of limitations.

Paterno shielded a known rapist? You clearly know some information that would be pretty important to law enforcement agencies. I hope you make it a point to report that information.

I have heard about Paterno being told about a possible witnessed crime and him passing that information on to the proper authorities to investigate it, but you obviously know something completely different than what has been reported.

if true these are heinous acts and it's a shame nothing can be done legally. but at the same time - coming out with the allegations 40 years after the fact because of other current events seems a bit opportunistic if you ask me. Seems like about half of the alleged victims felt the same way and wanted no part of coming forward with their stories.

Opportunistic? In what way? They don't seem to be looking for money or fame, just to tell their story and ruin the mother fuckers life who ruined theirs.

I think they should have come out with it a long long time ago. they've been adults for 30+ years.
