I have that game on DVD, it was an extra on the team yearbook DVD that year. Still pop it in occasionally. It's awesome.

I was "on break" at my job at the time listening in my car in the parking lot. I'm not sure I've ever been that overjoyed about a baseball outcome aside from the 08 WS, and it may even be close to that because 07 was so unexpected. I think I came back from break about 20 minutes late expecting my boss to be annoyed but instead he was like "holy shit, the Phillies won!!"

Weaver got 5/85m (AAV $17m)...Hamels is more accomplished and younger, I think, and 1/2 season closer to FA. Maybe 5/90m gets it done...something like $12m, $15m, $18m, $20m, $22m with a $3m buyout or team option at $23 m. Agent can claim 6yrs, $113.

If Hamels would take that, it should be easily doable.
