also it seems negative horizontals go in towards righties, positive in towards lefties.

perhaps i was wrong before. positive verticals are usually FBs that have backspin so it keeps them above where a straight pitch would be, giving a more 'rising' appearance. negative are sliders, curves change, that dive more than expected. so doc's cutter has more slightly cut into righties which is expected, and shit, i dont know what the vertical means. i guess cole's appears to rise more.

Well, the Phillies website did push Oswalt up to Friday night, but with our second All-Star break over the past week, Hamels could easily just pitch on Saturday instead.
