When your player has control of the ball, is out in front of all defenders with a clear path to the goal and the opposing players pulls your players jersey out of his shorts and jerks him to the ground from behind that is a clear red card.
Somehow the US always seems to take a good screwjob.

I think I'm finally hitting my tolerance level with your posts. Get over yourself. Any fan of any nation on this world could moan just the same. You want to argue with australia over that result with italy in 2006? How about italy or spain vs south korea in 2002?
No one country gets all the calls. Stop whinging or fuck off.

Or how about Ireland vs. France and the Thierry Henry incident, that's alot worse than a blind ref in a friendly.

It's getting tiresome reading everywhere that officiating is getting worse, without seeing any corresponding data analysis. It can't be that hard for a serious sporting publication to do. Fifa aren't making it any easier with their talk of not using replay video (bollix - we've seen how quickly it works in both rugby and cricket) refs and chip and ball technology for goals. But still, I'd actually just once like to read about some figures, instead of an endless ream of complaints, and looking at one incident from 5 different angles, none of which show a referee's point of view.
