spuds fans taunting arsenal fans is really hilarious.

like mets fans trying to talk shit on yankees fans.

you cocky, clueless losers havent finished above arsenal in the league since 94/95.

since then, arsenal have won the league 3 times, finished a season unbeaten, won the FA cup 4 times and won The Double twice. We've also made the finals of the CL and made it to the knockout stages every year since 1999. you've played in the CL once. you won the carling piss pot twice.

but why even go over this, you already know it. you (well, etched chaos, because hes been a supporter for more than 3 minutes like the rest of the "fans" here) remember the not so distant past when you consistently finished in the middle of the table, or flirted with relegation.

spuds have always been and will always be a small time club sitting in arsenal's shadow. i'd be pretty angry if i was a spuds fan too, but i wouldn't poke big brother, especially when big brother has consistently outperformed you for 100+ years.

Typically Yankee fan like response to the changing of the guard.

As for the bolded point, having to suffer all those years of misery means I'm going to milk every moment of our supremacy, because if it ends prematurely, I'll be hating myself for not giving you scum fans shit. That and any true football fan would talk shit to their closest rivals regardless of what the other team had won, it's tradition after all.

Well, before we finally beat you lot with Arsene at the helm, I had to resort to talking about the 91' FA Cup semi to try and save face when bantering with scum fans, which really was scraping the barrel.

nice butthurt response. arsenal fans are as bad as cowboys fans when it comes to talking about history. i'm having a fun time watching spurs, and yes, i've only been a supporter for 3 years and have recently got some of my friends to be supporters. sorry that annoys you, floppy. we're having a fun time watching a sports team.

we're not saying spurs have had a better history than arsenal, but we are enjoying our football at the moment and i do think spurs will finish ahead of the arsenal for the first time in 15 seasons. sorry us enjoying that annoys you so much. if you're that thin skinned maybe you should stay away from this thread if you can't handle your rivals being happy about a good run of form.

I'm sorry I don't have as much fan cred as you do, but I bet you were roughly the same age as me when you started supported Arsenal.

congrats on the win, jerz.

Don't sweat his accusing the rest of you of not being real fans, as the scum have an abundance of fairweather fans themselves so he's probably projecting his anger at being surrounded by plastic fans :P.

Especially as the Effeminates is now the Library mark 2, but at least it's not Man Shitty, who couldn't sell out a Manchunian derby.

i try to not complain about the emirates, since i can't actually go to games, but the support at home games really is shockingly bad. and i think thats part of the reason for our indifferent home form.

I'm not worried about it. I know times won't always be this good, but I will always support. I know most times we will finish far worse than Arsenal and it will not be as fun. Thanks for introducing me to some cool Spurs supporting stuff.

I'll be honest, I think your fan support is better than most say. That place gets loud when they play well(by well, I mean dominate), but that hasn't been the Arsenal we've seen the last few years. I think the fans have come to expect the great play of Arsenal 5 years ago and they get frustrated when they can't play at that level anymore. The fans want a league favorite, and Arsenal just doesn't have that right now. A few good players and you'd be right there.

Steve Nash needs to wear a Spurs shirt between games, that'd certainly help the US fanbase.

LOL! You clearly know nothing about football history pre-premier league if you think we're the Mets. The reason Spurs have such a big fanbase is because of the glories through our history, whilst we may not have won anything substantial since '91, that doesn't make us the Mets, because football didn't start when the premier league started.

Let's address the firsts that Spurs managed, shall we?

First and only non-league club to win the FA Cup
First club to do the league and cup double in the 20th century
First english club to win a European trophy
Inaugural winners of the UEFA Cup

So whilst that success is nothing in comparison to what the scum had done in the 90's/00's, it still puts pay to any comparisons with the Mets.

But hey, if you're going with the last 15 years schtick, then I'd call us the Phillies from '05, as we couldn't beat the Braves to a title for 15 years. Which of course means Spurs are about to reverse the trend on you scummy cunts.

As a courtesy please refrain from trying to seem all-knowing when you clearly like alot of scum fans forgot that football history goes back further than 15 years.

arsenal have won the league 13 times, tottenham 2 times.
arsenal have 10 fa cups, tottenham have 8

arsenal have finished below 14th only 7 times in 125 seasons.
arsenal have the highest average league finish from 1900-1999 among any team

sure the spuds aren't complete zeros, but even the mets won the world series once.

the record books speak for themselves, whether you only want to look at the premier league era or if you go back to the 1880s. no spuds fan will ever admit to the arsenal supporter's point of view, and vice versa.

and as much as i hate the team, i do think redknapp has put together as good a squad now as the team has been since i started following football in the mid 90s. of course if bale or greedabayor get hurt, i think you're in trouble. getting modric to stay was a pretty big coup, all things considered.

My counter was to the idea that we're the Mets, not that the scum had won less. If the Phillies weren't currently so dominant they would've been the ideal comparison,, but fortunately if Spurs keep going as they are they might still be the ideal comparison, you scum fans can get by with your Cardinals comparisons or better yet Dodgers, after all you're originally from Woolwich.

Typical gooner, arrogance personified. Feel free to post whatever misguided bullshit you concoct, it'd just make you out to be the football equivalent of a Cowboys fan, and the baseball equivalent of a Yankees fan. At least with Floppy you get the feeling he's aware that football didn't begin with the premier league, with you, I'm not so sure.
