City are in real trouble. United are still another poor result away from being in real trouble. It'd have been crazy if Basel could have hung on for all three points though.

Cracking first half. Howard saves a penalty by Kuyt...lower right but lacking pace, Howard guessed right. Adam cracked one off the bar in the 3rd min of extra time. Liverpool dominated possession being up a man for much of the half, just could not finish
Lots of turnovers on crosses into the box. Everton has the momentum for surviving the half 0-0.
