Other BB rumors floating out there:

-- this year's theme is high school bullies and the people they picked on
-- Janelle and Dr Will will be teammates in the next Amazing Race

I know I'm late in responding to this, so forgive me.
I'll be calling Comcast to ditch Cinemax for Showtime before the 5th. I have no life.
I would've much rather seen Dr. Will and Mike Boogie on Amazing Race. Ohh well.
As always, thanks for the latest BigEd.

Yes. It wasn't very good and I imagine ESPN doesn't spend much money on scripts. Somebody probably had the idea to remake the movie, only from the perspective of the Yankees. It is shocking that Turturro would agree to it.

NBC has begun showing, what i presume are, the last episodes of kidnapped at 2:30 on monday mornings.

personally, i hope they kill off the gringo kid.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

Has it been posted on YouTube or the internets (yet) so us out of towners can witness this monumental moment in television?

Not sure (Youtube is blocked at work) but it basically went like this:

(Phillies vs Reds graphic) "We're off tonight. Yesterday I got the bases-clearing hit and we won 5-1. Here's the standings."
(Sixers NBA draft graphic) "In basketball, the Sixers had more workouts. Here's Billy King."
(golf graphic) "Earlier today, I played some golf for charity. It was fun."

"Summer of Sam" was one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen, because I generally think Spike does great stuff and the cast was pretty strong. But it wasn't based on "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Bronx is Burning," which hadn't yet been written.

The book is tremendous--I read it earlier this year. (Granted it's about three of my favorite subjects: baseball, city politics and serial killers. What's not to love?) No idea whether the show will be good or not, but I'll probably give it a look.

I'm not sure if anyone has caught "Cities of the Underworld" on the History Channel-

they have one on the Freemasons - most of the show based in Philadelphia... amazing stuff
