Pop up for sure. You see that behind the back play all the time. How often do you see the pop up play where the pitcher doesn't move and barely puts any effort into catching it?

Looking at that in slow motion, the ball really was very close to hitting the heel of his glove in the spot that would have made it bounce out. Can you imagine Buck's call and subsequent conversation, for the rest of the game, about it if that happened?

what's crazy is that I'm so programmed to have an infielder take over for a pitcher on an IF pop fly that the sequence for me went:
