Yeah iheard he'd been a bit of a dick but the point stands. They play footie unlike, say, Stoke. I $#@! hate teams coming up from the championship and molding themselves in the image of Bruce, megson or allerdyce. So he can be as much of a dick as he likes.

Well, he didn't try and stick it to your team, so of course you don't care as a neutral. But I'm not really a neutral.
Yeah, his lying bullshit with the FA regarding Cesc is waaaaay out of line and shouldn't just be shrugged off--screw him and Hull

Granted but do you want them down knowing it's another season of big Sam in the prem? The same man who brought us kevin Nolan?

West brim within two points of Newcastle. Sunderland sitting on the edge off the drop zone.

Id be fine with both of them going down. But I currently hate Brown more than Fat Sam. We've learned how to cope with his tactics.

I'll be sure to remind you about that the next time you bitch and moan that the Prem is all about bad tackles, one up front and how no one wants to play football

Ryan Giggs was the best player in England this year. Really.

So if Newcastle don't get anything from Anfield this weekend, they're looking pretty properly effed. What a waste of two hours watching that game just was.

Barca dominate possession in the first half, Drogba gets the best chance thanks to Rafa Marquez being awful.

At least we know Arsenal won't do that tomorrow, since they can't. That was awfully negative from Chelsea.

So Rafa Marquez is out a while after blowing his knee out yesterday. Can't be good for Mexico's chances of getting their qualifying back on track.

Additionally, I think it's weird how much Chelsea's boring negativity from yesterday is being celebrated. It's not like 0-0 is a good result from the away leg. What is their plan at the Bridge? Defend like hell again and play for penalties? Sure they had that chance through Drogba, but Barca had like 10 half chances. They're not going to make it through another 90 minutes with none of them coming off.

I don't think they're kidding themselves within the team. They know they missed their chances, and that barca are only going to do the same thing at the bridge. I can see why they're chuffed with the result, in and of itself, cos, well, no one else has managed it this year. But only an idiot would believe that they've got it easy at home. There'll be a certain bit of 'ra-ra, we defended stoutly against the fannying foreigners, aren't we great' going on, probably mostly on ITV. Joy.

I heard it was not a game of beauty.

If this tie doesn't end up 9-7 on aggregate, I'll feel cheated. And, uh, obviously do not want united to win, although if they came away from today's tie with a 4-2 result, only to lose in highbury 7-3 (after leading 0-2 at the break), I would be a happy, happy man.

God, that would be great.
