These games against Chelsea and Arsenal have been pretty much everything you can hope for on an entertainment front, and just about as awful as possible with regards to results. I can't believe how bad the back four+Mascherano were today.

Meh, a ton of your important players are hurt. You won't be able to get away with that crap against United though. I can't believe some of the giveaways Liverpool's back four had. Awful. I guess at times yours was no better.

The point at least means if United randomly lose one of these games to Pompey or City or whatever, Arsenal can beat them in the league and we'd be level on points. Keeps us ahead of Chelsea too.

Still shit result. League basically lost. Phillies game needs to start now.

Apparently the folks on RAWK are blaming Howard Webb, the same Howard Webb who added 5 MINUTES on at the end, for losing the title. Staggering logic.

He was pissing me off in the first half some. Couple of questionable decisions against us, but nothing major.

I think shipping four goals on giveaways/not having anyone back on a corner was more to blame. And the offsides was super close, and could have been given, but that's not even Webb's decision.

It's unclear how it's only 1-0. James saved one from Giggs when he was in all alone. A corner got headed off the line. Rooney and Ronaldo have each had a few half chances in the box. Pompey are getting rolled over.

United win the league. Everton frustrate Chelsea. Cech and Jo just about killed each other. Good thing Cech still has his retard helmet on.

Ok, 5 games left to play.

Top 4 looks settled. Arsenal are 8 points clear of Villa, though we do still have to play Man United and Chelsea. I guess we could conceivably pass Chelsea, but its unlikely.

Villa is on 54 points, Everton on 53 with a far superior goal difference.

I think with the new Europa League, its only spots 5 and 6 for Europe, right?

West Ham are in 7th with 45 points, so its a non-issue.

Relegation is of course the intriguing aspect of the final 5 games.

15 - Sunderland (35 points, -12 GD)
16 - Hull (34 points, -20 GD)
17 - Blackburn (34 points, -20 GD)

18 - Middlesbrough (31 points, -22 GD)
19 - Newcastle (30 points, -16 GD)
20 - West Brom (25 points, -33 GD)

Run in for the final 5 for each team

Sunderland; @ West Brom, Everton, Bolton, Portsmouth, @ Chelsea

Hull; Liverpool, @ Villa, Stoke, @ Bolton, Man United

Blackburn; Wigan, @ Man City, Portsmouth, @ Chelsea, West Brom

Boro; @Arsenal, Man United, @ Newcastle, Villa, @ West Ham

Newcastle; Portsmouth, @ Liverpool, Boro, Fulham, @ Villa

West Brom; Sunderland, @ Spuds, Wigan, Liverpool, @ Blackburn

West Brom are done.
Hull have a real tough run in, and I'd love to see them get stuffed.
Boro have an even tougher run.

I think I'll still with those three, and somehow Newcastle gets out of it

Probably. I still don't know about newcastle after the shambles at the weekend - now is not the time to be playing the likes of duff as a wingback. In fact I'd argue agains wingbacks full stop, but that's because mick mccarthy used them all the time at Ireland, and any 3-5 something something formation has me screaming.

If it's a choice between hull and newcastle or hull and boro, I'd rather hull stayed up. They have played football this year. But really what I'm hoping for is blackburn and boro to go down. Big sam has not stopped them letting in goals.

After Utd won the Carling Cup - 7th place became eligible for another Europa League spot.

Think you're right about Hull going down, Boro might catch a lucky break against a weakened Arsenal team this Sunday otherwise they really do have a nasty run in. Their game against Newcastle will be huge. Think (well hope) Shearer takes Newcastle down to the Championship!
