Thank you for getting things back on track, SK. I thought this thread was going to turn into a prolonged Akeson bitch session and that would have been a joke. Dude has been better than any Flyer not named Vorachek and/or maybe Giroux in this series. If Grossman remains out on Tues, Gus needs to be in there. Gill cannot jump up into the play effective and I think that is a must at this point.

Felt bad about making fun of him because he's been awesome, but that was a real bad shot and a real bad decision to hold it for a second.

Gus/Laughton have to both be in. Who do you take out to make room for Laughton? There have been so many non-factors that you can basically choose anyone.

Raffl hasn't done anything. Rinaldo is as useless as they come in a playoff series.

Totally agreed on Rinaldo. Dude has one job and he is not even doing that. Nine recorded hits in about 25 minutes of ice time over four games. If he is not going to be hitting people and/or keep guys honest for constantly taking shots at Giroux then Rinaldo serves no purpose. You can at least make a case for Raffl since he brings some offensive talent to the table. He obviously needs to take things up a few notches though. I actually thought Raffl played a decent today. He battled hard on the boards and made a few really solid passes.

The 4th line is usually downgraded in the playoffs. Not sure how much impact you're expecting him to have in 5 minutes a game. He drew a PP in one of the games that could've been useful.
