Yeah, I really think this is a mistake. And it is not necessary an issue with Gill's play the other night (though he clearly was not great) but more to do with what the Flyers need to happen to get the offense clicking. It seems their most consistent pressure and quality chances have come when the defensemen are pushing the action. Gill is not that guy. Berube seems to want to set the roster to win a 1-0 or 2-1 game every night; somebody needs to tell him that a 4-3 or 5-4 win is just as good.
