Dear Mets,

Not so much. :-D
This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

Maybe they'll give us Wright if we take Heilman off their hands.

Schoeneweis gave up the HR because he was late for a bar mitzvah

The Mets have decided to bring back Jerry Manuel as manager despite the disappointing end to their season, SI.com has learned.

Keep the manager. Keep the GM. It's like they're trying to be like the Knicks.

That'll cost, what, upwards of $55 million in '09 alone?

Where’s Cerrone to put his usual Mets/SNY-sponsored spin on this?

I love it how Cerrone and Nichols don’t understand how we boo these bums. Maybe now you do!

1. Wright hit the softest .300 in baseball history. Never getting the big hit when it was needed.

2. The Mets needs to find a true leadoff hitter and move Reyes to #2 or #3. You know a leadoff hitter. Someone who walks and gets on base.

3. Ollie, Schoeneweis, Ayala, Heilman, Marlon, Alou, El Duque and Pedro should never be allowed to step foot at Shea.

4. If the Mets charge fans for tickets for Opening Day, then are truly jerk-ffs!

Let’s hear your spin guys. Let’s hear it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THESE F’N GUYS!

AND NOW YOU KNOW WHY!

Im kind of concerned they'd do something like trade him to the Giants for Cain, or another elite arm.

Getting him out of the division would be sweet, but they'll get a boatload of talent in return for him.

I want a real gangsta on this team. Somebody like Cody Ross or Shane Victorino. A SPARK PLUG! Somebody who a) speaks English and b) who won’t put up with other teams talking smack about them. I don’t want to hear the company line anymore and at this point I don’t care if David Wright ever plays another game.

Only spark plug you need is one where you poor gas all over your face then go by a lit stove you gutless coward!!!!

Yea maybe they should trade or get rid of a guy who hit 300,33hr and tied the franchise leader in RBI’s…..

Good move, next year do us all a favor and become a Marlin Fan, b/c Fish is what your Wreak of you whiny B*I*T*C*H

I love how Jose Reyes' .358 OBP isn't good enough for leading off. Sure, I mean, it could be a little better, but what else are you going to do with the leadoff man? These people are so fucking dense, which scares me. I love how the bullpen is like 3rd and 4th on their blame list after Reyes and Wright and Manuel. Their bullpen was epically bad, possibly the worst in the decade of any team. And yet they blame their best players. Whatever.
