mens usa basketball is on the USA network now.

originally i was a fan to have kidd starting. to kind of keep them from slipping into allstar game mode. but it's like being on a powerplay with him out there.

in his 1st five quarters: i think he has zero pts, zero assits, 3 turnovers, and been getting pwned on defense.

He really had no assists vs China? I think he's pretty useless to the team, but I seemed like he was at least playing alright and throwing some nice transition passes in that first game. I guess not. They should have brought more big men.

the thing is they wouldnt even need big men if they would just leave paul and wade on the court. they are so dominant right now it ridiculous.

i just know they're going to have a hard time with the next three opponents. and it'll be because of these retarded allstar game rotations.

paul, wade, kobe, lebron, howard

the only subs should be to keep howard out of foul trouble.

I'm really glad I went back to bed after Nigeria scored. Apparently the penalty given to Babel was a bit soft too.

Whole lotta shit had to go wrong after the 90th minute on Sunday to keep us from advancing, and it all did.

I've had that happen too, although maybe not in a championship meet. It's definitely slow. I switched to a different type of goggles ("Socket Rocket" type) and I never had any trouble again.

What's amazing about Phelps' run for me is that I truly was disappointed that he only broke the record by .06. He's been so incredible in his other events that A NEW WORLD RECORD seems trivial.
