i would be pretty irate, mostly because of the 3b situation.

upgrading on dobbs/helms should not be hard to do, and would be a great way to make up for much of the likely loss of offense in the outfield. but somehow they seem intent on screwing this up.

i read today on mlbt that they have little interest in ensberg!!! this after all the news about the likes of mora. so they ask about expensive guys who might actually be worse than the inhouse option, but don't ask about cheap(er) guys likely to provide an improvement like ensberg/tracy/koskie/lamb/i.stewart/p.baker. arrrgghhh!

Yeah, I agree that it is stuff like that that has me  but, really, how do we know who the Phils have talked to (about) and who they haven't?

Other than Woody, and maybe dajafi, looking back over this thread shows what a bunch of morons we all are. Maybe we should start posting on the tard board.

I know the "Rally for Reggie" didn't work in the 90's, but can we do a "Parade for Pat" or something?

This thread was before we had Feliz though. That's why we were so angry.

I didn't say it in this thread, but I had said elsewhere what you had stated on page 2, that the Braves would be our main concern. I actually thought they were going to win the WC. I guess we're all idiots. Except Woody.

Yeah, I mean, we wouldn't have made it to the playoffs this year if either the Mets OR Brewers didn't historically choke by playing slightly better than .500 ball for the second half of September.
