O's had first and third with one out. There was a line drive to center and Sizemore made a diving catch. Markakis tug up and scored before Tejada got doubled off first, but the plate umpire waved the run off. The umpire crew met with both managers after the top of the inning. The Indians scored in the fifth to tie it, but the crew chief called the official scored in the bottom of the sixth to add the run. It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

Tony LaRussa refuses to take any questions from anybody associated with the Post-Dispatch. He is protesting an article that picks on the Cubs' drought -- No Tinker. No Evers. No Chance.

saw that on The Sports Frog.

And surprisingly there isn't any mention of it anywhere on ESPN.com. It is only the rarest damn feat in baseball. Tulo should have done it for the Sox, it would have been front page news for a week.
Yes son. I'm the best mono-thingy guy there ever was.

Does BBTN really have to spend three hours talking about the death of Josh Hancock (in place of the game he was supposed to play in)? I think it's actually a little disrespectful and patronizing.

I don't know if you remember the day Lidle died, but they broke in the coverage at around 5:00 and literally had it going 6 hours straight and then covered it more on SportsCenter. There is a point I think where you need to just take a step back and stop talking about it.

They're doing an impromptu draft recap now, good decision with the Randy Moss to the Pats news to talk about.
