Just bought my first DSLR. Having a Canon Powershot G9 previously I was all ready to upgrade within brand and go with the Rebel XSi. However at the last moment I reconsidered and went with the Pentax K-x based on some really positive reviews I read. Anyhoo, here are my first pics (from Ridley Creek State Park)

Nice shot! That's a spider lily, I believe. A very photogenic flower - I got a good photo of one when I was in Hawaii too.
